Membership in MAS HORNA TOPLA

    1. The founding members of the association are members of the Preparatory Committee.
    2. Any natural person over the age of 18 or a legal entity having a permanent or temporary residence (pertaining to a natural person) or a registered office, or registered office, may become a member of the association. operation (concerns a legal person) in the territory and has jurisdiction in that territory and which will be willing to become a member of the association in writing.
    3. The legal entity is represented by a person who is either a statutory representative or is entrusted with a power of attorney, which must be documented in writing.
    4. Membership in the Association is established by the approval of the application by the Executive Committee of the Association (hereinafter referred to as the Committee). It is possible to file a written appeal to the Assembly of Members of the Association via the Executive Committee of the Association within 30 days of delivery of this decision against the decision of the Committee not to be a member of the Association. The Assembly of Members of the Association shall decide on the appeal at the next meeting, but no later than 60 days after receipt of the written appeal. It is not possible to appeal against the decision of the Assembly of Members of the Association.
    5. Membership in the Association shall terminate by a written declaration of withdrawal from the Association, by death, termination or declaration of execution, bankruptcy or liquidation of a member with legal personality, dissolution of the Association or expulsion of the member in gross and repeated breach of the Articles by decision of the Committee and deletion of the member. Membership also ceases to exist in violation of the territorial geographical integrity principle. It is possible to file a written appeal to the Assembly of Members of the Association within 30 days of delivery of this decision against the decision of the Committee to exclude it from the Association. The Assembly of Members of the Association shall decide on the appeal at the next meeting, but no later than 60 days after receipt of the written appeal. It is not possible to appeal against the decision of the Assembly of Members of the Association.
    6. The members of the Association shall receive the Preparatory Committee until the establishment of the bodies of the Association.
    7. A municipality may not be a member of two or more LAGs.
    8. A member of a PO may not be represented in two or more sectors.

     

    Members’ rights and obligations

    1. Each member has the right:
    • to vote and be elected to the bodies of the association
    •  to attend meetings of the Association bodies
    •  participate in association activities and activities organized by the association
    • contact the bodies of the association with ideas, complaints and seek an opinion
    • be regularly informed about the activities of the association and the results of its management
    • get out of the association.
    1. Each member is required to:
    • observe the statutes of the association
    • comply with organizational and internal regulations approved by the Assembly of Association Members
    • to fulfill the resolutions of the Association’s bodies, to help achieve the goals of the Association and to actively participate in its work
    • develop activities to achieve the goals of the association and defend its interests
    • in case of election, perform the tasks resulting from the function
    • to promote the association, its objectives and activities
    • according to their conscience, the extent of their possibilities and their ability to assist the bodies of the association
    • to protect and enhance association assets
    • pay membership fees at a specified amount and date.
    1. Membership Termination:
    • by withdrawal – membership expires on the date of delivery of a written notice of withdrawal from the member
    • death of a natural person, respectively. legal entity
    • the dissolution of the association
    • deletion due to member’s inactivity
    • by exclusion, if the member violates the member’s obligations again and despite the warning, or for other important reasons. In particular, the violation of the territorial geographical integrity of the territory as one of the main principles of the LEADER approach is an important reason. The exclusion is decided by the committee. A member may appeal against a decision to exclude the Supreme Body of the Assembly of Members of the Association, except where the violation of the territorial geographical integrity of the territory of the Partnership is justified.
    1. Members’ duties may be governed by the decision of the Assembly of Members of the Association when carrying out individual activities for the benefit of the Association.
